With support from national initiatives under Singapore’s SG60, residents now have more opportunities to take part in cultural and active experiences through the SG Culture Pass and ActiveSG credits.
We have gathered a few places for Ang Mo Kio residents to explore, right here in our neighbourhood!
All Singapore Citizens aged 18 and above will receive $100 in SG Culture Pass credits from September 2025, which can be used for more than 400 approved arts and cultural experiences across Singapore offered by participating organisers and ticketing platforms.

Eligible programmes include:
Residents can visit sgculturepass.gov.sg and log in using Singpass to check their available credits and browse eligible programmes and ticket listings across authorised platforms.
Credits are used at the point of ticket purchase on participating ticketing platforms. Users must select SG Culture Pass credits during checkout to redeem them. The credits are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can only be used for eligible programmes under the scheme.
All credits are valid until 31 December 2028. Any unused balance after this date will expire. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and make use of their credits early.

Kampong Lorong Buangkok nestled within Buangkok-Fernvale South, is Singapore’s last remaining kampong. Unlike the surrounding urban landscape, the kampong is known for its wooden houses, open spaces, and close-knit community.
For many residents, a visit offers a quiet and unhurried experience. It’s a chance to walk through a part of Singapore’s past that still exists today. Families may find it a meaningful place to share stories with younger members about how people once lived. Residents can also consider pairing a visit with SG Culture Pass-eligible heritage tours or cultural programmes to gain deeper insights into Singapore’s heritage.

Visit sgculturepass.gov.sg to explore events and use your credits now!
